The purple shade is exactly as pictured, and the snug fit keeps my ears warm without feeling tight. I've worn it on a few chilly walks already and it's held its shape nicely.

The knit is dense enough that I barely feel the wind on my walk to work, but it's still light on my head. I've worn it every morning this week and it hasn't stretched out or felt itchy, which is more than I can say for other beanies I've owned.
